Renew the Mind and the Body and Heart Will Follow

The power is in these words is profound. They can be easy to dismiss and blow off. But this is where the power to change is hiding.

Paul tells us in the book of Romans that we care to no longer think like the world, but rather change our thinking. And the result of changing our thinking is a changed life.

As we grow in our walk with God and walk by faith, we inevitably have to choose if we are going to continue in old ways of thinking, or begin to think according to His ways.

The promise that comes with renewing our minds is then we will know God’s will. His PERFECT and PLEASING will.

As I continue to grow in my faith and mature as a person, I am realizing the Bible’s instruction and advice are so practical and have real power in our life here on Earth.

I believe this is part of the eternal life we are promised when we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and confess Him to be our Lord.

Over the last year or two, these verses have become my guiding light. As a result, my perspective on life has been transformed.

My desire is to encourage you to be open to God’s calling in your life and see where He is wanting you to renew your mind.

While we will touch on many topics in this blog, right now, my main focus will be physical change. I will be sharing my own stories and giving you some practical suggestions for you to take and see how God brings forth change as you walk in obedience.
